Perler Sailor Chibimoon #1

I wanted to create Sailor Chibimoon's Pink Sugar Heart Attack. I shorted her wand since its actually a tiny wand in the anime. I also took the idea of the sparkles around her and applied it to the pose I wanted to use.

Perler colors used: Black, dark gray, gray, white, peach, sand, tan, light brown, clear, magenta, pink, light pink, bubblegum, hot coral, red, yellow, pastel yellow.

Perler Sailor Mars #1

I used the first Sailor Mars pose and used the fire effect from pose 2.

I had trouble deciding what colors to use for the fire. I wanted to use reds, but I didn't want red in Mars' suit and in the fire. I was skeptical about using orange and yellows for the fire (for some reason...), but it turns out I'm pleased with the results.

Perler colors used: Black, dark gray, gray, white, peach, sand, tan, light brown, clear, red, hot coral, purple, pastel lavender, orange, cheddar, yellow, pastel yellow, dark blue, blueberry cream.

Perler Sailor Neptune #1

I altered Sailor Neptune by opening her eyes and placing a planet about her head.

Sailor Neptune was another one where the color scheme was hard to choose and I still feel I didn't quite get it to how I wanted it. She's still super cool though!

Perler bead colors used: Black, dark gray, gray, white, peach, sand, tan, light brown, clear, dark blue, toothpaste, turquoise, pastel green, light green, parrot green, bright green.

Perler Sailor Mercury #1

The blues were all so similar that I had to change the colors in my grid in order to place the beads on the pegboard and not get confused between colors >_<

I don't know if I'm pleased with the color scheme I chose. Too many blues on Mercury, it was hard to pick out and combine all the blue perlers.

Perler bead colors used: Black, gray, dark gray, white, light brown, tan, sand, peach, toothpaste, blueberry cream, periwinkle, light blue (or possibly pastel blue? I don't remember...), dark blue, neon blue, turquoise.

Perler Sailor Pluto #1

I had fun with the changes on Sailor Pluto. I put the Dead Scream cloud effect behind her and on the original sprite the garnet orb wasn't on her staff, but its so pretty! I'm also tickled that I replaced a flesh tone pixel on her ear to put in an earring. Just the tiny details make me so proud! I captured a better shot of the cloud effect than pictured below and used that. I didn't have enough grey tones for the cloud, so I put creme into it, which actually isn't so bad.

Perler Colors Used: White, Black, Grey, Dark Grey, Light Brown, Tan, Sand, Peach, Dark Green, Bright Green, Pastel Green, Periwinkle, Blueberry Creme, Red, Cranapple, Magenta, Bubblegum, Light Pink, Creme, Clear.

Perler Sailor Venus #1

Sailor Venus is one of my favorite Perler projects so far. I'm really happy with the pattern I laid out. I made her hair a brighter yellow, and I had to change the color scheme of the sword fireball thing behind her. Sailor Venus and the fireball had a lot of similar colors in common, and I didn't want the whole thing to blend together so well. The lightened the warm color shades of the fireball. I think Sailor Venus' pose is really cool. In the anime Sailor Venus never used a sword, but in the manga she does. I also made the bow in her hair stand out a little more than the original sprite.

Perler Colors Used: White, Black, Grey, Dark Grey, Light Brown, Tan, Sand, Peach, Red, Hot Coral, Blush, Orange, Butterscotch, Cheddar, Yellow, Pastel Yellow, Creme, Toothpaste, Dark Blue.

Perler Sailor Uranus #1

I altered the colors of the planet in Sailor Uranus' attack to look more vibrant. I was disappointed with doing her hair, I had to use tan, which I also used for her skin. And the highlights in her hair are pastel yellow, which I feel is a bit too bright. But you gotta work with what you got! She still looks super cool!

Perler Colors Used: Black, White, Grey, Dark Grey, Light Brown, Tan, Sand, Peach, Dark Blue, Periwinkle, Pastel Yellow, Yellow, Cheddar, Orange, Red, Creme, Clear.
